During the month of June 2026, to the delight of judo lovers, the city of Belgrade became a gathering place for some of the biggest names in the world of judo. The two World and European judoka champions visited the Serbian capital city in order to share their championship skills with our judokas and their coaches at the Judo Masterclass Camp’s classes and training sessions.
This sports manifestation took place at the „Šumice“ Sports Center in Voždovac from June 5 to June 7, and was organized by the Sports Association „Kukolj Team“. During the weekend many young judokas had the opportunity to learn from champions such as Nikoloz Sherazadishvili, a two-time World Champion, and Tommy Macias, a European Champion and World Vice Champion, headed by the host of this Camp, Aleksandar Kukolj, a Serbian Olympian, one of Serbia’s most successful judokas and the former European Number One.
This year, the Serbian Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce was once again one of the sponsors of the event. We are delighted for the opportunity we had to contribute to the sports event that motivates young people to do sports and encourages them to develop an awareness of healthy living.
