General Assembly Session of the Serbian Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce held on June 30, 2026

Over the years, the Serbian Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce has been dedicated to preserving and strengthening the deep and sincere friendship and cooperation between the two nations and two countries, the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, through its active work focused on humanitarian activities and socially responsible acts.

This type of work of our Association is not possible without the support of its members and associates. This year’s Assembly Session of the Serbian Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce held on June 30, at the Radisson Collection „Old Mill“ hotel in Belgrade, gathered its member companies who, with their regular annual contributions, give the Chamber the opportunity to turn its ideas into reality. This year, we owe a special thanks to one of our members, the „RD Mal“ Company, which covered all the costs of organizing SAKOM’s Assembly Session.

At the above mentioned gathering, all current scholarship holders of SAKOM's scholarship program, which finances successful students from Serbia and Azerbaijan who are facing material and financial difficulties, were presented to members and other guests. We can proudly say that, by the day of the Session, 56 students in total from various Universities and Faculties were supported by this program, and that many of them successfully finished their studies.

So far, we have organized several humanitarian actions with the aim to support monasteries in Northern Kosovo and Metohija. Keeping in mind the importance of these sanctuaries for the survival of the Serbian people in Northern Kosovo and Metohija, financial funds, books and working equipment for the monastery’s workshop were donated to the Monastery Duboki Potok and the Monastery of St. Great Martyr George in Brnjak, thanks to SAKOM’s help and the contributions of numerous companies.

At this year's Assembly Session, special attention was on the environmentally responsible activities of SAKOM members. We are proud of the fact that „Azvirt Ogranak Beograd“, in cooperation with PC „Zelenilo – Beograd“, the Embassy of Azerbaijan and SAKOM, enabled the planting of 100 saplings of plane trees in the Ušće Park, as well as the reconstruction of the Chess Pavilion in Tašmajdan Park in Belgrade. This way, we have reminded ourselves that investing in the community we live and work in is the investment into the future and a better quality of everyone’s lives.

Pleased with the results we have achieved during the previous year, we strive to continue in the same manner in the coming year, motivated to be a responsible member of the community in which we live.
