Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday an opportunity for even better economic relations with Azerbaijan had opened after a Serbian delegation’s visit to Baku.
“I think we left a good impression,” the prime minister told reporters after a two-day visit to Baku, where the Serbian delegation met with officials of the Azerbaijani government and companies.
Progress was made regarding the issue of the privatization of the petroleum and chemical complex, and there was also talk about privatising Serbian agricultural companies, he said.
The meetings were also about projects, he pointed out, adding that companies from Azerbaijan were interested in new investments in Serbia and infrastructure construction.
A delegation from Azerbaijan will arrive in Belgrade next week and President Ilham Aliyev is expected to visit Serbia late this year.
